A symbolic Sit-in program
The program aimed to draw the attention of concerned authorities to ensure that Indigenous Peoples issues are addressed through a dedicated thematic committee in the constitution-making process, including constitutional amendment, reform, revision, and rewriting. The program also called for the Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC) of Indigenous Peoples before any constitutional amendments are undertaken and emphasized the need to safeguard the identity, rights, and meaningful participation of Indigenous Women.
